Playing a Lord of the Rings game that uses Pandemic as its shell and I love that the Eagles card includes a fuck you to the "why didn't they just fly to Mordor" people...

Again, a reasonable concern but this dude is actually appalling, which is why you don't run meme candidates...

Told me he wouldn't be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

Guy who sent me £20 on Ko-fi to support my YouTube channel because his 10 year old son enjoys it so much has properly moved me a bit.

Whether they got it from this or not I don't know, but what they've done is essentially a bastardisation of a Sherlock quote.

OH GOD PLEASE NOT AGAIN

Rewatching Hell Bent (prompted by nothing, why do you ask) and as well as being one of the best Doctor Who scripts of all time, it just looks *incredible*.

It's been like this for a while and I'm not coping.

Looks like Albanese will win the highest two-party preferred vote share of any election for 50 years.

Despite all the talk about the industry being broken, pretty solid performance by the pollsters in Canada.

Lux: easily the best of the 'Pantheon' stories so far, there's a simplicity and heartfeltness to this that makes it stand out. I can take or leave the meta sidestep in the middle but there's enough gold here that it doesn't matter too much. Alan Cumming is great as Lux too - 9/10

The Robot Revolution: someone needs to get a grip of these season openers as this is another mediocre offering. It's got some interesting ideas flying around but does nothing much apart from gesture vaguely at them. Varada Sethu makes a good first impression though - 5/10

I'm now a big enough deal on YouTube that I've started being recognised in the chats of other people's streams...

Joy To The World: [2/2] 15 feels more like the Doctor here in Moffat's hands rather than the general nice guy we've had up until now. With that comes Ncuti Gatwa's best performance. Yes, it's overly saccharine in places but Christmas episodes are built different. It's a delight - 10/10

Empire of Death: there's good stuff in the wreckage of this finale. The scene with Sian Clifford is a standout as is Gabriel Woolf's triumphant return as Sutekh. But the stakes never feel real and I had no emotional connection with Ruby's story. A weak ending to a mixed season - 4/10

The Legend of Ruby Sunday: there's a lot of wheel spinning and delayed payoff here, building up to an all-time great cliffhanger. It's enhanced by some lovely interactions between the characters and enough atmosphere to hold the whole thing together for the runtime - 8/10

Rogue: probably my aversion to period drama and I know lots enjoyed this but it's not for me. As thin as paper and full of scenes trying to carry far more emotional weight than they can handle. Jack Harkness just isn't interesting anymore even when pretending he's a different character - 3/10
