The word 'manage' comes from latin and basically means to train a horse. -> a 1on1 activity if you ask me. It feels akward at times and has delayed gratification (sth. that sales mgrs aren't used to), but people development is a must-do. I think time spent w/ your team is the core KPI for managers.

This table by Jeremey Donovan is incredible. It seems to suggest 1) don't become 'too big for your boots' as a CRO. 2) SMB is easy? 3) Only large company CROs have the golden ticket to go anywhere. I doubt that the N for large companies CROs going small is statistically significant though!
