The other version is 2/4, actually, I fat-fingered the keyboard there. They both have two beats to the bar, but the 6/8 one has nice even triple eighths while the 2/4 has 8th/2-16th patterns.

“For unto us” is objectively the best, but I’ll also put in a vote for “Rejoice greatly” (only if it’s the 6/8 version though; the 3/4 version can go kick rocks)

I mean, yes, but also, a lot of women already know. How about “every man needs to see this and be outraged by it”, since it’s so often men who keep denying the existence of sexism and misogyny, and pretending not to see it or downplaying it when it happens?

I have many, but the tl;dr is that this sort of “well, I’ll just briefly, dryly mention it and then use my authority to say in my judgment it’s best to get on with class” like it’s a nothingburger is entirely on-brand (& despicable) from the guy who repeatedly said women are genetically inferior
