I love that - our practice is so varied that the way we demonstrate it should be too #LTHEchat

I definitely need to get better at that! Keeping a folder of feedback emails (or screenshots of lovely LinkedIn posts) is something I’ve started doing too #LTHEchat

Ooh thank you! Coming from a Secondary/FE background being observed is so normal to me, I was quite shocked to see the difference in HE so am very interested in understanding different approaches 😊

About to do a research project looking at some of these points! Teaching observations can be such a great opportunity to develop but I don’t think many places welcome open door policies #LTHEchat

A6 Doing more with less. Fellowship will be a useful tool to help us to reflect on and understand the impact we have despite the challenges we all face. #LTHEchat

A5 Also, mentoring opportunities (much like @aldinhe.bsky.social does for CeP) might help staff in different roles to consider the impact of their practice from different perspectives which can often be helped by having a mentor in a different role to your own #LTHEchat

A5 More institutions could offer a variety of application routes: at the AdvanceHE conference last summer there was a presentation on doing a verbal application that sounded great - I think being able to talk about what you do might make it more accessible for those in different roles #LTHEchat

A3 I think this is a classic for a lot of people but doing really good things and not recording the outcomes beyond knowing ‘students responded well’ - of course that is evidence, but when it needs to be more tangible it can sometimes be a challenge to go back and find the data/evidence #LTHEchat

A2 I learned how to ‘be reflective’ during my MSc as it was central to one of the modules, however when it came to fellowship it made me consider things from multiple perspectives, so I started looking at things a lot more holistically which has certainly improved my practice #LTHEchat

A2 I think it’s made me a lot more reflective which in turn has helped me to consider not only what approaches I use/could use in my practice, but how I can support others too #LTHEchat
