And if you find that threatening to dems, no worries. It'll be a long time before the DSA achieves ballot status so you won't be threatening to "spoil". And just being so inclined to be a real party is gonna but more umph in the threat to the corpo-dems. Find (or start) your local chapter.

But it didn't have the stamina necessary for this point in time. We need an ACTUAL party funded by its own members. Fortunately, we have one.

This "go home" nonsense is a copout from that half of our generation that never really joined in in the first place. They've been "democrats" without actually paying any dues (which is at least ONE reason why the dems do not represent this generation - so find something newer.)

No. Don't go home. Join an organization BASED in young people. Pay dues. Sit on the back bench. Support them, financially, emotionally and with your remaining shoe leather. Here's the important part. Listen. Learn.

There used to be a thing about going after the actual CAUSE when solving problems rather than just dealing with the effects. But I guess Gates' approach lines him up more closely with who he considers to be his prime benefactor.

Actually, at the smaller events I attended yesterday, some based in more suburban areas, I was impressed at how many signs regarded issues regarding harassment and detention of immigrants.
