so i can happily say that not all nazis go into the military. a lot of the edgelord basement dweller alt right pipeline talk a big game but never had the courage to fight for something bigger than themselves. but keep in mind: ideology is an evolving spectrum. i didnt start out as a leftist, either.

i think you may underestimate how many of us came out of the military and went left. we dont have to start buying assault rifles. we already own them. and conveniently, guns are a great equalizer. one nazi with 40 guns has no advantage, because he can only fire one at a time.

and thats exactly why i saw no point in both standing up to nazis and asking for gun reform. better to hide the guns now and use them later.

what do you mean "now"? YES! thats what free speech has always been about. you lose free speech when one (usually fascist) party decides it wants to suppress words, facts, and entire points of view. nobody was ever actually suppressing the right's christofascist musings, but now the left will be.

try typing the word "cisgender" into twitter and see how much free speech you have over there. the state doesnt have to own it because musk is already towing the line. anyone who wants to criticize the administration will undoubtedly be censored.
