Our union is unwavering in our commitment to a fair and equitable newsroom at @NBCNews.com and @TODAYshow.com, and we will continue to enforce our contract to ensure our members’ rights are protected.

We are extremely concerned that management appears to have selectively laid off workers in violation of the contract. After meeting with @NBCNews.com representatives last week, we were left with more questions than answers.

These layoffs included the beat reporters that cover Black, Latino, Asian-American, and LGBTQ+ communities. Some of these roles have been immediately reposted, but with no guarantee that our members will be rehired.
