As the other commenter said you can fix this by setting up weapon groups for your NPC mechs (AI prioritizes lower groups) but personally I recommend the TTrulez AI mod (or at least I will when it finally updates) www.nexusmods.com/mechwarrior5...

Apologies for replying to something so old, but do you have any further reading you could recommend? I would like to learn more about the truth of temple preactices of that era but not confident I could find non-Christian sources on my own.
