I totally agree with this assessment, but colloquial evidence suggests that ArgoCD has already won the hearts and minds (maybe). Probably because of the ease of onboarding. Flux is beautifully engineered IMO.

The random selections and formations seem like an extension to the Kennedy playbook. I can’t see where the change comes from.
