Exactly, automation is a good thing and should be celebrated for increasing productivity and easing the burden on humanity… is what i would say if we were under a different organization of the economy.

Automation under capitalism destroys jobs and enables brain drain especially as one of the largest generations is leaving the workforce and the most recent generation entering the workforce is struggling to find entry level positions. Not sustainable at all.

A 2 state solution will be more of the same. There needs to be a 1 state solution where Palestinians and Israelis have equal rights, equal representation, Palestinians have right to return to their homes and land and the government pays for representations for the crimes committed against them.

I judge American politics based on political theory and history. Left and right analysis is the same no matter what country you are in. A compass will always point north no matter what country you are in on earth (until the next pole shift)

Your prospective of the political spectrum is American centric. The left starts at anti capitalism tendencies, and since a defining trait of liberalism is defending capitalism/ austerity, liberalism is a center right position. In fact, both America parties are 2 different flavors of neo-liberalism.
