Seeing the first steam controller go on a massive sale and not being able to purchase was pain.
Had to find one used so many years later and it was costing a fortune here.

I love the trackpads so much! They're the whole selling point for me, absurdely customizable, pleasant for mouse games. It takes patience to set up, but once you do it's great.
We have so many normal controllers already, so it's nice to have one doing something no others do in the same way.

And then because you forgot about it, you don't immediately watch (or notice) when the new season finally comes up, which causes them to think there wasn't enough interest after all, and cancelled it gets 🥲

Yeah, GIFs are SO needed for pixel artists. :( The video compression really butchers them and I'd hope this kind of base essential for artists isn't locked behind a paywall.
(For longer videos a paywall would make sense since it'd be taking more storage, but GIFs are usually pretty small)

A maior tristeza é que tecnicamente por ser uma ~atividade intelectual~ artista nem pode trabalhar como MEI realmente, e abrindo um ME antes de ter uma renda estável o preço do contador pesa muito mais.
Seria ótimo se MEI fosse pra qualquer microoemprendedor, forçando ME só acima de certa renda. :(

That's a good point, since you can even resell BGs if you get bored.
Where I live their resell value is likely to be the same or MORE than what you paid too(due to price increases or it going out of stock).
I have one that's still in print, but it nowadays costs 3x more, even used it is pricier.

Uma frustração esses bots de atendimento, é uma dificuldade pra chegar num humano e quando chega tem que repetir tudo que falou de novo.
O pior é que nesse intervalo pra ser atendido o produto entra em produção e o cliente que acaba saindo no prejuízo...
Espero que consiga resolver :(

I heard they changed the line spacing or something, which could explain why it's looking different... I feel like it used to be a little bigger than the "larger" setting too but maybe I'm just tired.

Acho que ainda tinha gente que vendia no ali/ML/etc sim, não são oficiais então tem que tomar um certo cuidado também, mas não é muito barato infelizmente :(

Pelo menos a caneta/película é fácil de achar no shopee/ali, a borrachinha do analógico já é bem mais chatinho de trocar. O touch você tentou recalibrar nas configurações? Quem sabe ajuda um pouco.

The issue is the heavy compression that happens, specially for smaller art. Pixel art gets blurred and loses much of the definition that's characteristic of the medium.

Hi @pfrazee.com some artist work with Pixel Art and a core element of their work is color count and resolution fidelity. In Bluesky they have been dealing with the problem of compression, since it makes the image very different from the final product.

I love Videos for animators and indie devs wanting to promote their games. Just wish they included native GIF uploads too since Pixel Art gets quite degraded when posted as video. :( We have a nice pixel art community growing in bsky so it's kind of a shame.
