Stephon Castle has averaged 31 mpg over the last 7 days. Over that time, he is averaging 14 points, 5 assists, 2 threes, 1 steal and just under 1 block. Reminiscent of Derrick White's numbers when he was a Spur. Castle's increased role oughta stick as Sochan isn't coming back anytime soon.

Kris Dunn is now starting in LA. In his first game as starter, Dunn played 30 mins & was a team best +11 in an 8 point loss. Thanks to @oldmansquad.bsky.social for alerting me to his new role. Per-36 avgs over the last 3 seasons: 13, 6 and 8 w 2 steals, half a block & 1 three.

Bummer about Melton's sprained ACL. He was looking nice as a starter. Podz an obvious add. Other solid replacements out there are Kris Dunn (new starter role), Kevin Huerter (Monk out), Marcus Smart (no Ja or Bane), Shaedon Sharpe, Patrick Williams.

With only one game on tonight and Filipowski long gone, I’m preemptively adding Jaden Hardy with the news of Kyrie’s shoulder strain and late questionable tag. Decent chance he rests vs. the Jazz. In 7 games as a starter last year, Hardy put up 11, 4 & 4 with a steal and 2 threes. #fantasybasketball
