Only a handful of models seem to have been reported so far, hopefully the rest update soon :)

Unless they add significant amounts of battery storage, I doubt that the feed in rates nowadays would mean it's worth it. Offset own electricity use, sure.

I've been watching and waiting on this site for over a year! I truly hope the ball starts rolling again with regional highway sites! Can we vote for a non-tesla Yass ultra-fast site next (at the Ampol site, not in town)?

I hope the price drops quickly after release. I'd be happy if it could be had for ~ $3k.

Saw this too. Good idea, but since it's almost flat, would require frequent cleaning the panels on top?

There aren't any HV powerlines (or any powerlines) out there to bring the power to the coasts. 1000s of km of powerlines takes ages to plan any build. They would need to traverse countless landowners properties, and all need agreements and compensation.

But Dutton needs electricity use to increase only marginally. 😣

And Dutton plans to rip up offshore wind which alone has the potential to produce way more reliable power than nuclear, far quicker and cheaper. It threatens to make nuclear even more of an embarrassment.

November's EV5 sales figures look positive for Kia.

Do you mean the outage in Sydney Sussex st, that had nothing to do with the heat or renewables?

More charging options is always good news. I charge at home in the city, so my bias is wanting to see more done in regional areas, especially NSW far south coast.

It's probably about 1/3 of that to take an Uber *sigh*

I prefer the environment and social benefits of LFP. Continued improvements should make this the best choice for all IMHO. Less range should be countered by more reliable & numerous regional charging stations, charging speed, and the better safety & enviro credentials.
