Update: We are officially getting it re-printed, signed and numbered by the artist. Had to destroy the old one in the process though!

Found this 160/180 canvas collection print of Robert Bateman’s Orca Rhapsody for $18 while thrifting today but there’s some damage to it.
Anyone know if this is something that can be repaired? I’m going to call a few places tomorrow and see what can be done.

My bird could be living her best free-range life exploring the whole house, but no, instead she chooses her cramped little carrier cage to sit in ALL DAY like a weirdo.

Finally biked from Winnipeg to Birds Hill Park! After 66.6km and a tough southern headwind, I made it home in 3.5 hours (and with 10% battery left??)
My butt is sore and my legs are burning but I am so happy to have spend such a beautiful (yet windy!!) day outside.

Finally biked from Winnipeg to Birds Hill Park! After 66.6km and a tough southern headwind, I made it home in 3.5 hours (and with 10% battery left??)

Time to revisit an older piece and bring it to a finish. I don’t think I had the skills to complete this when I initially painted it in 2018.
There’s a lot going on so it’ll be a challenge balancing out all the chaos! I will try to do that with values.

Rough phase is finally complete! Now that I know where everything bird is going, I’ve now gotta go over the sketch, fine-tune it and stylize each design.

Thank you, City of Winnipeg, for doing such a great job on the snow clearing these last couple of days. Pathways were wonderful today.
