Really enjoyed playing through Cronos. I vastly prefer third person horror games to first person ones so when a new one comes around I'm happy to try it out. Its slow pace is actually something I liked too. Fun gameplay, interesting story and beautifully atmospheric environments.

I watched a bunch of preview videos and the overview video from Nintendo. My concern is not with some dumb character at the beginning. He seems like he goes away pretty quickly but I'm just concerned about other npc's you meet. I just hope they aren't just telling you everything you need to do.

The vibe I got from the overview trailer is that he'll just be with you in the beginning but you'll work with other Federation troopers throughout the game and it feels like you'll be introducing these people to each other and they'll all help to get out. Idk it could work but I'm wary.

Other M wasn't even that bad in terms of having companions. Just weird characters in cutscenes but if these federation troopers stick around then I'm worried. We'll see.

I've been playing through it and really enjoying it. I think I'm closing in on the end here in the next few hours. Also any game where you collect cats is good by me.

I think a lot of them just repackage bulk candies from other companies too which is silly. I have gotten some good ones. They're just too expensive to get consistently

Age of Imprisonment was too tbf and that's on a full cart. I think this is on the Pokemon Company or the game requires faster loading speeds for whatever reason

Already posted about it but adding to this thread for posterity. Stray Children is seriously one of the best games I've played this year and it just has so much heart and love put into it which shows. Such a special game.

Yeah I've bought switch 1 versions of a lot of games because the gkc situation but it's on a case by case basis.

This is true but I'd still much rather have something I can sell or let others borrow and something I can put on the shelf compared to only a digital copy of a game. And at the very least with GKC's you get the benefit of the faster load times you get with digital too.
