Exactly, and it gives a lot of flexibility, eg: first strike triggers, then I put +1/+1 counters on all my birds, and that way they are bigger when they hit with regular damage.

I actually run Wild Aesthir in my Kastral deck and it does sooooo much work. People underestimate it as soon as they see the old art/frame, not realizing how powerful First Strike is with Kastral out.
