Yes it’s designed to be additive. Lots of people getting hooked

Looks like a lot of shell scripting, by the way a good and robust way to unit test shell scripts is shpy

interested in this piece. What kind of trans? Could you elaborate how it felt?

Would you like to share detailed experience? I’m collecting experiences for a post on ai coding addiction

Some of the approaches you listed would get developers into lots of trouble: splitting stacks, extending Stack construct to define resources

The personal style and interactivity is what makes it great.

Looks so polished!
Did it take a lot to build?

It is also unbelievably slow at getting anything over the finish line
I've been vibe coding with Cursor this week. Once you understand how to use the agent, and it is non-trivial to use properly, it's unbelievably powerful at scaffolding, simpler refactoring, documentation, and configuration/css style tasks.

Doesn't look magical at all when looking at the expected time to generate some lines of code
Vibe coding is that magical state where everything feels like it’s working until you actually test it.

Vibe Coder Looking AT Time Distribution of Expected Time to Generate 100 LOC

Trying is nice but measuring is even better. Show your boss some numbers!
Also, my boss asked if anyone had tried vibe coding in a meeting last week and I laughed out loud before I realised he was being serious.

It "speeds up" only the test of the developer's patience...
Been thinking about vibe coding and AI-assisted coding lately and penned down some thoughts on it. It can speed up smaller projects, but there are some important concerns to consider.

Feel free to share your thoughts!

AI-Assisted Coding: The Hype vs. The Hidden Risks
“Vibe coding” or AI-assisted coding has become popular in the past few months. It simply means prompting the AI to generate your codebase…

The case for vibe coding

Let's be kind to CS graduates, they'll be fixing all the “vibe coding”.

I propose brute-force coding!
"vibe coding" needs a direct competitor. I propose "woe coding", which involves locking a fresh CS student in a room with a ThinkPad older than me until they write a web application in ANSI C89 using ed(1)

For one engineer the Monte Carlo simulation shows how painfully inefficient and slow code "vibrating" is. Can imagine any dev team would tolerate this.
