You should come back to Delta! We saw 24 species in a nice wintry stroll around Shirley’s Walk at Ladner Harbour Park this morning.

You wouldn’t guess by looking at this photo but this island spit had a group of Steller’s sea lions on it and 3 transient orcas swam past them, checking for prey….. I didn’t have my phone handy but the view through binoculars was great! 😂

BC birding: went to Reifel bird sanctuary in the Fraser River delta this morning with some friends. It’s a very good birding location; we recorded 42 species.
