Plant and politics nut. Occasional rants in among the wildflowers. Mid Wales.
Anyway, life is short and with the climate crisis shortening it by the day, those of us who care and try to make some small contribution to reducing it should stick together. Good on you for protesting. All the best and sharing some wonderful life in my meadow to celebrate this evening.

Dung beetles have appeared in our meadow. Hurrah! Found this wonderful downloadable ID guide by some people who clearly have a fine sense of humour. The Dung Beetle UK Mapping Project (aka DUMP) dungbeetlemap.wordpress.com/dung-beetles... This one is Onthophagus coenobita.

Hanging out by the river today and saw about 30 of these iridescent blue beetles. Alder Leaf Beetle was thought extinct until a record from Manchester in 2004 and it is still considered rare across Britain. Amazing what you see if you keep your eyes open 💚

Well, congratulations to #Thei #Independent newspaper for joining in the news-as-entertainment cult, failing to talk about people trying to change lives for the better and promoting an attention-seeking toddler 🙇🏼‍♀️🙇🏼‍♀️🙇🏼‍♀️ Our politics is playing out like a Greek tragedy.
