In a sentence: left leaning retired teacher with an allotment and a love of Echo and the Bunnymen.
This is beautiful, I’ve emailed it to myself and have it as wallpaper on my iPad 😁. Hope you don’t mind.

Didn't get this right though, I'm a Capricorn and I really don't crave depth and moody drama - does anyone? 😂

And this is almost right, but I know I listen to Sliding the most, because I LOVE IT 💖

My Youtube recap of the year, looks about right 🐰💖

There wasn't much to do at the allotment today so I pottered in the garden. The sweet peas were still flowering when the frost got them this week so finally took them out. Roses still going though, even a new bud. Very unusual for the end of November here in Cumbria.

Not much done today at my weekly (intention, doubt it'll be a reality!)winter allotment visit. Took a few bin bags of leaves up and broke the ice on the 2 small ponds. Late chrysanthemums are surviving the frosts and have buds still, so fingers crossed for more flowers. 🌞🌼

First frost here, so a trip to the allotment to lift the dahlia tubers whilst listening to Ian McCulloch's Holy Ghosts album. Beautiful in the sunshine, freezing in the shade.

Some not very good photos of the Northern Lights (rubbish camera on my phone).

For some lovely reason, this gladioli has chosen to flower in November instead of July like the rest did. Warm enough for lunch outside today so I'm sitting on the step, having my lunch and enjoying the late bloom.

Lovely, sunny and 17° here today (in November!), so a morning at the allotment finally getting everything done whilst listening to Echo and the Bunnymen 'What Are You Going To Do With Your Life?' Just harvesting of the flowers, purple sprouting broccoli and the rest of the apples going forward.

A lovely way to spend a chilly Autumn afternoon, walking alpacas at Bardsea, overlooking Morecambe Bay

Another Aussie evening by the beach, courtesy of my sister in Adelaide. Not jealous at all as I'm shivering here in Cumbria.....

Listening to Echo and the Bunnymen's The Fountain album whilst cleaning out the fridge. Very sing-a-long so getting me through the tedium 💃💃💃

Allotment produce, all ready for Halloween 🎃

Dahlias still going strong. My new cut flower bed has done well. Beechgrove Garden last year inspired me; followed their recommendations as to what to plant and I've had flowers since June. Still some late chrysanthemums to come, but they need to hurry up!

Last of the late raspberries, breakfast tomorrow.

Sunny day here in Cumbria, so got back to the allotment after a week away. Pleased with my little apple tree this year, it's finally produced and they're good!

Back off hols and my sourdough starter has survived, so baked this this morning (new to this sourdough lark, but enjoying it so far) 😊

Doesn't really compare with yours, but we watched a lovely sunset from our balcony in Portugal yesterday evening.

Museum of Liverpool today. Got slightly over excited when I came across Ian McCulloch!
