Oh no! That was unexpected, I've just finished 25 Library Terrace by Natalie Fergie. This is what happens when you read e-books, you don't realise you're approaching the end! How sad.
An absolutely riveting book, I loved it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We've got loads of these appeared in our front garden. I tried to find out what they were but I gave up. Look very similar to that one.

Just started this non fiction. A warning to us all to take heed, learn the lessons from history before it's too late.

Repeat by Dennis Glover. Out 5 December.

Wow! And this from someone who doesn't much like walking.

Ugh. Wishing we'd never changed ISP now. This is frustrating in the extreme. My husband has got his phone connected to the elusive internet but mine won't and neither will a lap top. How does that even work? Especially when his says 'no internet' but works!

And THAT #booksky was the best book I ever read. 🥲 Ever!

"Her thoughts were becoming dense and unfathomable. Her heart felt like a clockwork toy that had been overwound."
From The Truth About Melody Browne.
Yes, my heart feels the same way, I have to keep stopping reading in order to take it in, each revelation.

This book! 84% read. I'm going to miss all the characters. What an emotional ride and beautifully told. Definitely a 10 star read. ⭐♥️

First ever launch I've been to, enjoyed it very much.

Just been to the hairdresser's. I got this book from the book sharing shelf. I spotted it 6 weeks ago and forgot it. I've other books to read but this is next.

On a day that's irritated the hell out of me in many ways, glancing over at these makes my heart sing. Beautiful carnations which are a much deeper pink in real life than this photo.

@andreatromans.bsky.social There were still quite a few of these in our Aldi this afternoon so you might be in luck.

Ha! This was the day I dreamt of, limited time offer 99p for This Is The Day They Dream Of by Robert Goddard. I've been waiting for this since the day it was published.
Might be this time next year when I get to read it, but today it will be mine. 🥳

3 books? No I can't read three all at the same time, one is going to have to wait. I found The Silent Treatment by Abbie Greaves on an old tablet unread. So let's read a bit, just to try out the Kobo app that's been long abandoned.

Hooked! I need to read this book now.

80% in now of what has been a fabulous book. A piece of music has been mentioned, I recognised the name Acker Bilk so I looked on YouTube 😭😭😭 I love it when music is mentioned in books.
The Lost Girls of St Ann's by Cath Staincliffe, a story of adoption in the 60's.

Not all done today. I can spot the tiniest cell of colour. Love this game. No clues used for all 4 pictures.

Besides reading, my distraction. About the only thing I have unlimited patience with.

Have you got more than one dog or is he like ours with multiple beds around the house. Ours prefers a bunk bed, he's like The Princess and the Pea 😂
(excuse the shoe rack and stuff, we're decorating the hall)

The after party of The Party. Wow. Who'd have thought. After reading The Party I was not looking forward to One of Us.
It's been absolutely brilliant. 85% in now and the sh*t is hitting the fan! 😲
Can't wait to see what happens next. I'm going to wait and savour it. 📚🗡️🖋️ #booksky

It's extremely good this book. Much faster paced than the Party, a good mix of characters. Deceit, betrayal, scandal abound. And I'm getting through it very quickly which is unusual for me. I'm normally slow to finish a book, easily distracted.
Out September.

Not only does the ridiculous Eucalyptus tree next door rob our back garden of all sunlight after 3.00pm but the disgusting article sheds all it's bark all over our garden. There's only a couple of pieces in next doors garden where the crappy thing lives.

I'm not a huge fan of crime fiction/thrillers these days but after reading a short story by Freida McFadden called Death Row it made me curious about this one.
Nearly finished now. I love her dark sense of humour and have really enjoyed The Boyfriend
