This quote got me: “…the ubiquity of college-level work in high school has blurred the boundaries between them. That can leave students with a diminished experience of both.” We can’t forget that getting a whole experience of each level of our education system is part of our education system.

AI is just a labor replacer, clear and simple. Everything teachers are being encouraged to use AI to do - write objectives, modify texts, translation, etc. - is stuff that can be done better and with more care by a human being.

The ethics part sticks out here. Setting aside all of the other issues related to AI in the classroom (there are MANY), there’s no current way to use AI that doesn’t force users to participate in harm. www.pbs.org/newshour/amp...
