Tell me one proven action which is working to avoid the heating that is already in the system. Around 2030-32 we will touch 2c and the heating lag is well documented and peer reviewed. So let me know how you will avoid the 10c of heating already emited ? Tell me and I prove you that you are wrong

What some don't understand that even if we slash the emissions the extreme weather damages and more will continue and rise for the next hundreds of years.

A worldwide revolution is probably the only way to get rid of them but the situation is different: The 10% will not join the party until its too late and the powerful have learned from the past and they have now weapons that a few can use against many. A real revolution is always bloody and deadly

Do you know any realistic mitigation who will not remove the privilege of the powerful or even the 10% ? I don’t.
Look at the situation: Far right is risking worldwide with climate denial ( USA, Europe…) People are getting stupider every year ( proven by many studies). More world population, etc

4.5 C backed in for 2100 ( Hansen’s last paper ) and the warming will continue for hundreds of years until the equilibrium is reached ( 8 C + 2 global dimming). I know it’s hard to accept but with all tipping points that’s the results. At 3-4C is anyway the end of our civilization.

I had years ago a discussion with our president and I can confirm that they don’t care or have no clue of the consequences. The wealthy and powerful don’t care, most people don’t care. The only plan they have is to accumulate as much money as possible to protect themselves from the inevitable

The only thing you can do is to prepare physically and mentally for what will occur in the near future. 10C are backed in and if we stop all emissions the lack of emissions ( 2 C rise in months) will kill us all very quick. It’s too late and nobody can do anything or has a solution to solve it.

Funny to be chocked by such temperatures but totally ignoring that your own lifestyle and travels are causing it.

If you’re realistic you should all realize that the powerful and rich have given up since years to save the world. The new plan is to make as much as possible money to protect themselves from the consequences and other people.

Projections are difficult as we have a lot of variables in the earth system but as we have actually no possibilities to stop the rise ( more people more emissions more idiots ) a collapse in the next few decades seems inevitable. 3-4C is the upper limit for the actual society if not earlier.

Actually the temperatures increase is 0,4 C per decade and rising. Linear projection: 2030 ~ 2 C ; 2040 ~ 2,5 C etc

1. The measurements are done far away from any civilization, so in the rest of the world all measurements are much higher.
2. All those gases need around 1 year to mix with the global atmosphere.
Conclusion: Your measurements are only a minimum from last year ;-)

We will be nowhere safe in a few years but with no shelter you are already dead. But that’s not the point. In such an house you are safe from most climatic events and no need to heat or cool the building as this is underground with a stable temperature at an affordable price for not the rich elite

Dear Peter nobody will help us. It’s irreversible and fatal what we have done. Only a question of time when society will collapse due to the extreme climate events that will occur in the near future.

Faster than expected and like ALWAYS our scientific community is way behind the reality. They are only interested in the next paycheck and to sell books and to continue the fake IPCC narrative. They are all cowards and not willing to think out of the box to say the truth that it’s too late

Fairytales and lies. There are 1,100 billion tonnes CO2 in the air and other GHGs which cause 10C of warming with feedbacks. 3-4C is end of civilization. Emissions cuts only accelerate warming as they fall out of the sky within weeks but CO2 stays for 300,000 years.
