Totally agree! And I think I remember data supporting that. I'm imagining a system where they are free and become the catchall environment. I don't think most R1-type research Us are capable of doing the same thing as efficiently

What do you think about community college then? The colleagues I've met that teach in CCs are really creative with pedagogy and great and reaching a wide range of abilities.
