Maybe it wasn’t an intentional attempt to suppress an organisation she didn’t like. Maybe it was just incompetence which led to Yvette Cooper failing to consider the proportionality of proscription. In which case she should probably resign for her incompetence…

In a world of growing extremism I think it is terrible for a “centre-left” party to set a president of abusing anti-terror laws to suppress an organisation they don’t like. I think it is precisely because of the “new world order” that I expect Labour to do better and champion our human rights.
