Wallawa is palawa for "Stop here". I wanted to add a bit of dagginess so Wally is a portmanteau (of sorts) that felt right but had that hidden meaning.
Weirdly I found out several generations back, my family had a pretty flash spot called Wybalena House - Wyabalena means "resting place".
