"Reclaiming narratives on race + sex work through research, dialogue, and collaboration between racialised sex workers, policymakers, and practitioners. Over the past 2 years, we’ve worked with racialised SWers to identify their barriers to access/safety across 5 key sectors. We aim to work with national/ local practitioner groups on strategies that visibilise the concerns of racialised sex workers, centring those who are too often talked about, but rarely heard. Through these 5 peer-designed sessions, we aim to transform how public services engage with racialised SWers, challenge harmful narratives, and redress the cross-sector harms facing socially excluded communities. Timeframe - expected to be 2 hours with a Q&AWe invite you to attend 1 or more of the focus groups depending on the scope of your work. Sessions will be geared towards policy makers and professionals working in distinct policy areas, with an aim to co-develop tangible actions against racism, stigma and exclusion.

Artwork should be 2D, framed and/or mirror plated, and posted/ delivered to Sunderland, London, Glasgow, or Manchester. Contact if you need support with this.
We have a few access bursaries to support delivery of artwork or to visit the exhibition.
