I know right!! The artwork is familiar. They were probably being played at the time but wasn't popular in my circle and I don't think in Australia in general. That's what I'm loving about your show–all these awesome songs that never made it big down here. The 90s–the gift that keeps on giving!!!

Yeah for sure, let's do it! I'm really curious as to what 90s Aussie tracks made it around the world and defined Aussie 90s for them.

@90swhatever.bsky.social there really was. Culturally we were in a similar place to the states, coming off the back of the 80s Aussie rock. So the grunge, alternate and heavy music coming out of the states really struck a chord here in Australia. But we largely put our own spin on it.
