Don't know how to write "small." But, I'm learning. Just cut out half the characters in my latest horror spec. Also, since when did I start writing horror?🤔 #scriptsky #Spectember

Unfortunately, this idea doesn’t land with readers or specs today. Too often I receive praise for story, writing, etc, but pacing gets hit. Formula kills what could be great, yet that’s what the monster feeds on—maybe that’s why the monster keeps spitting it back out. #scriptsky

Phone swiped back in March—15 Pro Max gone, plus some other things lost for good. Insurance will cover the hardware, but it lit a spark. Since then: 5 features, 1 short, a pilot. Still running on m&m's and ion. New phone waits… maybe after the next spec.

One of the greatest lines from a femme fatale. Ava Gardener as Kitty Collins. Burt Lancaster as Swede Anderson.

#TeaserTuesdays is that even a thing? F* it. Is now.

Scenes from my crime/thriller All God’s People. Pandemic lockdowns. Nationwide unrest sparked by police brutality. 2020, a defining year in US history—marked by isolation and upheaval. Where some see crisis, others see opportunity.

At $100 per eval + $30 to host, I think a thorough read is a fair ask.

Back in 2015, I submitted a zombie comedy. I knew the script had issues, but I wanted to test my strengths—characters and dialogue. One reader nailed it. No complaints. The other… that’s another story. But I accepted it. 🤐

Posting my Black List eval for All God’s People. The 6 isn’t what bugs—it’s that it reads like the reader stopped after Act I. Barely any mention of the 2nd or 3rd act where everything lands, the tonal pivot, and the Strengths section doesn’t align with the score. Any thoughts?
