I refuse to believe that Niyl and Adgy are so low in every poll that I see.

Well I’ve just had a wonderful 10 days off, seeing people I know and love.

London, Guildford, Sunderland, Darlington, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow.

Life is looking good, it’s on the up, sure it’s not perfect right now, but we will get through this tricky period ❤️

The progress I’ve made, it looks small, but to me it’s big.

And one more thing, I’ve ended the year on a massive high. I am able to be openly gay for the first time.

Well I’ve made it to Benfleet, the nearest station to Canvey Island!

Time to swap the train for the bus, as it is the number 22 to the penultimate stop!

2nd of February. This was simply brilliant as a day! One of the best of the year. I knew I had a job at GWR, having found out the day before, and I was filming for Southern / Thameslink and their TikTok launch! Destination Dash was the name of the series, which involved us doing various challenges across the GTR network. This photo is at Blackfriars station, looking towards the Shard, and Tower Bridge. This is taken on the balcony on the other side of the glass of the station, as we had special permission for filming there! To Cal, Tom, and the whole team that made it so fun, thank you (I know you’re unlikely to see this, but hey ho) 🫶🏻❤️ Oh, on this day I scored 2 penalties against a Luton Town U-18 Goalkeeper. Not bad if you ask me 😎 2nd of May Welcome back to Stockholm in Sweden! This time we are underground in the T-Bane I love the design of the Stockholm T-Bane. It all looks like it was carved out of the rock, and then just left as it was! No polished walls here, all painted concrete that lines the tunnels! Wonderful place!

1st of January. 1st day of the whole year. It got off to a flying start on the early turn back on the platforms of Gatwick Airport Railway Station! I miss this place massively. I have so many good memories of Gatwick. At this point, I didn’t know that I was going to be leaving the platforms behind in just 4 short months. This photo was taken from Platform 5, and Features Southern Unit 377402 on its way to London Victoria, from platform 4! 1st of February! Month 2 of the year. This photo has a lot of significance for a different reason to the last. This is at Twyford station, looking from the slow lines to the fast ones! This was taken just after I had had my interview in Reading, for the job I now have! It was on the very same day, but later in the evening, that I found out that I was successful 🫶🏻 Twyford therefore holds a lot of significance for me :) 1st of May! We are in Stockholm Sweden for this one! The photo is of a Swedish flag flying in the clear skies of the city centre, with the sun shining through the back of it! This was the first day of my May holiday, which began just one day after leaving my job at Gatwick! I loved this holiday. I went to Scandinavia for almost 2 weeks, around Eurovision, and started in Sweden, then to Norway, then to Denmark and South Sweden (Malmö). I have no doubt more photos will come up in this thread from this holiday! 1st October. Welcome to Redhill station at 0440 in the morning. Sleepy, but I’m awake nice and early for the early shift! By this point I’d been working solo for around about a month, so I had started getting into the swing of things at this point. I love the emptiness of the platforms, yet I know very shortly, I’ll be transporting so many people across the North Downs! What a privilege 🫶🏻
