I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a Greater Spotted Woodpecker the other day! Apologies for the quality zooming in, but either way it was amazing to catch one in action!

Today was all about habitat management! At Haldon forest, underneath the main powerline, the Pearl Bordered Fritillary butterflies call this patch home 🦋
They are sadly in decline across the UK (30 - 40% over the last decade). Patches like these are their best hope!
