Made more chutney with apples and the last of the year's green tomatoes and courgettes. Chutney-making paused while I mopped down several surfaces after a mishap with a bottle of vinegar.

(The green tomatoes grew feral in a bed with the three sisters, seeds from last year's kitchen waste that came through in the compost I used. I didn't weed them out, and they ended up being more productive than the climbing beans. Happy accidents and all that...)

I have regrettably taken the decision to shave the dog after she has come back in from the garden covered in burs for the 98th time, when we'd literally just got the last lot out.

Up and at it earlier today. Pup to doggy daycare, to uni for a seminar then to Totnes for work. The neighbours have done morning milking and are out to graze. They know the way.
