Enjoyed reading about your Losey binge. Have you seen Powell & Pressburger's The Tales of Hoffmann? Now that's filmic opera! It's like the centerpiece of The Red Shoes stretched into feature length.

Nice piece. I have been eagerly looking up every dish mentioned throughout this game and going "ooooh" like DK on a banana binge.

The player character is modeled on Toshiro Mifune! Perhaps ethically questionable but consistent with the history of using dead actors in Onimusha.
