I do use them on Windows in a professional environment, though I did experiment with them on Wine with reason and native with Reaper by using yabridge. It's decent, but it's not nearly perfect.

Then I don't really see Linux being widely adopted to the average consumerbase that would want to move from MS/App

-Drivers are fully supported
-Distros like Mint are dumbed down to the average consumer where it *just works* for them
-Developers make their Linux versions of their apps (after wide adoption)

If Linux had more of a market share compared to Mac and Windows, then *maybe* devs would write drivers on it, and some issues would be ironed out.
