Movies take 3 to 6 months to film. Sometimes more sometimes less. Games take 4 to 6 years. Again sometimes more sometimes less.

Believe it or not, I actually think it's because they tried to save money on Licensing with FIFA. Name recognition goes a long way between looking official and looking like a knock off. FC 2025 or whatever sounds like a knock off game.

It is crazy. The scale is nowhere close. Also DA:I had momentum from the previous entries. This game was stuck in dev hell for a damn decade with nearly no marketing to support it. I know it has its flaws but EA did nothing but make this difficult for the devs.
