Eagerly awaiting your explanation of how this one still counts as a quality loss and Bama deserved a CFP bid over the 1 loss teams and conference champions

Fame, power, and infinite money with an unhealthy dose of brain trauma and psychedelics seems like a pretty obvious recipe for the Aaron Rodgers we all know and hate in 2024 without needing him to have been predestined to suck this hard

To me it seems like a much more clear cut case of an intelligent, hardworking, and overlooked underdog who had a textbook rags to riches story up through winning the superbowl only to lose the plot over the subsequent decade+ as he racked up awards and millions while the team kept coming up short

He may have gone off the deep end but you've clearly never been to the parts of California he grew up in. Chico is to Sacramento and SF what GB is to Milwaukee and Chicago in terms of size, distance, and cultural differences. Butte county voted Trump in '16 and '24

This is nice to read. By contrast, Joel Osteen, whose church had made him millions of dollars richer, would not allow his cock to be used as a temporary home for victims of hurricane Katrina

It was ONE season amidst the chaos of major conference realignment and the NIL fueled transfer portal. The circle of suck had Indiana beating Michigan beating OSU beating UT beating Bama. A 12 team playoff with rare Cinderella stories makes way more sense than an undefeated P4/5 missing out entirely

SEC fanboys see all their conference games as statement wins and quality losses while the same cannibalism in EVERY OTHER major conference is proof that everyone else is mid and they should just let SEC teams replay each other ad nauseam all postseason to determine a national champion

Claiming the 4th, 5th, and 6th SEC teams had a better claim than the winners of the other power conferences is an insane take. The Big 12 was the most competitive conference in the country this year and I'd put BYU in before any of those mid pack teams got a look
December 21, 2024 at 7:31 PM
so 7-5 and 6-6 teams AREN'T quality wins even if they made the NCG last year yet Bama losing to multiple 6-6 teams still count as quality losses? Meanwhile Texas has lost to Georgia twice and none of their other opponents are still ranked yet nobody is questioning their resume
December 21, 2024 at 5:38 PM
No team with multiple losses to 6-6 teams has any business being anywhere near the playoff. The SEC screams SoS then schedules FCS cupcakes every November because their conference is just so special and hard like the other power conferences aren't cannibalizing every year too
December 21, 2024 at 9:03 AM
They also didnt play an FCS team in November or lose to multiple 6-6 teams. NDs SoS was almost identical and their loss was to a 7-5 NIU not a 10-2 Ohio State. This game was nowhere near as bad as the worst blowouts of the BCS and 4 team eras and IU absolutely deserved to be there

Bama plays an FCS cupcake every November and nobody bats an eye. If they wanted to make the playoff they shouldn't have lost to multiple 6-6 teams. The only 2 loss P4 teams that missed the playoff were Miami who got lucky all year and lost to their only ranked opponent, and BYU who lost to Kansas

Everyone here talking about trauma when the obvious answer is that you're dutch

Yeah I'm skeptical of him after the Trump dance but he joined Milan last season and scored 12 goals en route to a 2nd place finish.

Chelsea qualified for the CL in his first 3 seasons with them despite the transfer ban imposed immediately after his arrival and '22-23 was because of Abramovich
