A few brands are doing that. Ionna, BP Pulse, Pilot Flying J (yes, the trucks stops have EV chargers with the same cover the gas pumps use) and even Tesla is building SuperChargers with covers that also have solar panels.

This won’t be a PHEV. It will be an EREV — the expectation is the battery will be able to go 200+ alone. While that *is* better than a PHEV, I wish they would have a BEV only version — I don’t tow and the existing Lightning was perfect in that scenario.

The threats of cutting funding, among other things, had to have turned more votes *against* Trump’s push as well! Truly showed some spine in Indiana, and while I likely don’t agree with most of these folks politically, they at least did the right thing here.
