The BL/BLI combination drugs, ceftazidime/avibactam, meropenem/vaborbactam, and imipenem/relebactam, have proven especially useful for treating carbapenemase producing, carbapenem resistant organisms (CRO), specifically Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapenemases (KPCs).
