If there is a bright side to the trump disaster of a presidency, it’s that he is waking many Americans up to the evils of the American empire. He says the quiet part out loud, and decent people don’t like the looks of it

Naw, her business as usual attitude, sidelining people with vision and donor and poll focused politics is what allowed Trump to rise as an anti establishment candidate.

It actually is an extraneous issue in comparison to the masked secret police kidnapping people and the military occupation of cities and the targeting political opponents and protesters as terrorists.

That’s what people don’t understand about fascism or other totalitarian systems. For many people everything goes on almost as normal, as long as you stay in line and do what is expected

No single action defeats any regime. It takes a lot of people taking what risks they can to oppose it and eventually it snowballs. If people with economic and political power see that it is worse for their bottom line to support the regime than to defend it, they’ll make a pragmatic choice.

Thank you for this. I care about the healthcare fight, but this is the fight we need to win for out nation. We need to preserve our democracy or we are entering very dark days

It’s something but it is a shame how every time the US commits a horrible war crime we get worried about the troops as the primary victims rather than the people who are bombed out of existence
