I’m not sure if you follow FootBiz, but they have a great write up in today’s newsletter about streamers and DAZN. Really sad to see, I believe the French number was a 72% decline in revenue, which would bankrupt many smaller clubs on the edge.

Yeah I agree. I was in Charlotte before this and even the half full Bank was always bouncing. The pumped in fan noise and music is crazy to me. I even got gifted pitchside tickets for the LAFC game and even that was subpar. Would love the owners to focus on that but that’s not where the $$$ is

Plus the new ownership is going to further kill the vibe (or lack thereof) at the stadium by putting in…. even more corporate boxes!! Amazing.

As a recent transplant to Salt Lake (2024), I very much agree with you. Early games were fun with the continued emergence of Luna, but with the new ownership and lack of coherent signings it wasn’t a great product on the pitch (or off).

From what I saw did not look like the foul continued into the box and was a good few feet away. The ACC final had wonderful VAR today, shame as I think the officiating has been subpar this season in USL1.

I don’t know if tight is the right term there, a good 1-2 feet outside the box. Shame as the game was great to this point.

Fully expect the AOB to be the bicycle kick in a blizzard for the CPL final and also MN vs SEA game of MN losing, red card, come back and lead, Seattle equalize in the 90th, pen keeper subbed on, dislocated his finger first dive, goes 20 pens deep, pen keeper misses decisive pen. Very CONCACAF.

I think our midfield showed how much we needed creativity. Couldn’t possess, couldn’t build, Richy was weak as a target/holding 9. After the changes it was a bit better, but hoping we can get another player in before the window shuts. Midfield looked tired, not even Champions league yet.

Took my comment 20 minutes to get deleted. Crazy to come into the league with this sort of brand image. Especially out of Oregon, which you’d think would have a similar ethos to HOP and VGFC. I dmed them, we’ll see if I get blocked

I commented on it asking the direction of the club. No other ai comments so looks like they are deleting them. Who tf starts out a club like that right after the brand reveal. Was stoked for an OR USL club but now not so much.
