I can't think of why anyone outside of oracle would. If i remember right, it was just knockout.js with some oracle design system components built in

Hey, I remember using JET when I worked at oracle. We only used it because they wouldn't let us use angular or any other popular JS framework

The irony is that to know what you're doing, you have to do stuff without knowing what you're doing for a while

Love that one!

Blue bubbles!

what!?
June 12, 2025 at 8:42 PM
This is really interesting. There are parts of this design that I love and look beautiful and other parts of it that just seem distracting
June 10, 2025 at 4:59 PM
Yeah, the cynic in me wonders if that's the whole reason for the redesign

I'm hoping they really wanted to highlight the refractions because it's impressive technically, but they'll scale it back for actual use. A lot of the screenshots look more like bubbles than glass to me
June 9, 2025 at 10:29 PM
This looks really cool!
The one thing I'd be worried about though is that everything might start feeling the same. The glass feels just physical enough that i feel like i'd want to see some different materials

Then that means following due process should be even easier for the administration.

It's insane that this is even being considered some sort of defense for their actions.

Are WWJD bracelets about to make a comeback?

I think we still have a zero-sum understanding of AI in the workforce (i.e. anything done by AI is something that would have been done by a human)

If AI can make a project feasible that wasn't feasible without it, you could potentially see an increase of human jobs

Gotcha. Yeah, that one was on my list. Thanks for the recommendation!

With some fresh snow outside, haha

There are a lot of versions of this kind of bot. You could probably build it in under an hour. I doubt it's a huge investment
March 3, 2025 at 8:42 PM
I feel like users' goal isn't to follow the design system, but to do their jobs. I think detecting when then design system is getting in the way is the first step to adapting it so that it's seen as the "easy way"
