There’s a scene in A Little Prayer between Jane Levy & David Strathairn that’s a big contender for the best bit of acting I’ve seen all year. Throughout this lovely, deeply human film the two of them are luminous & heartbreaking in equal measure. A kind ode to kindred spirits

I quite liked Alex Russell’s Lurker! A smart, thrilling contemporary film, capturing what it’s like getting swept up in a moment that’s larger than oneself, & the way our digital era helps create a slippery slope between wanting to be loved and wanting control.
