Our new foster cat, Charlie (aka Charlston Chew, aka El Beasto) is a lovable lunk. Biggest house cat we've ever pet. He genuinely loves getting his belly brushed, but will also reflexively bunny-kick the shit out of you while you do it. Sweetest, most docile cat ever.

Refilled the bird feeder in my back yard recently. This morning while I drank my coffee on the deck I was rewarded by a swarm filled with two kinds of chickadees (my favorite) and a ton of red breasted nuthatch which I haven't seen in a while.
A magical start to a Sunday.

The local, family owned diner where I occasionally go for their delicious North of the Border Burger (laden with Canadian bacon, pineapple, and swiss) has adopted a "bottomless onion ring with burger" policy.
Proof that sometimes the Universe is good and wants us to have good things.
