@williamottens.com and I joined the #KansasCity Running Club this year. This weekend we participated in their annual Cliffhanger 8K and 5K. Such a beautiful day and route for a run.

I met a friend early this morning to get in one last practice session for a duathlon this Sunday 💪 It's a 5K run, followed by a 13+ mile bike ride, then another 5K run. Props to my friend who’s tackling the full triathlon - she’s the real MVP! 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Heartfelt thanks to #KansasCity for offering free public transportation, a service from which I, alongside countless others and the environment, benefit. Today's journey involved two streetcars and three buses, covering 30 miles, all at no cost. A huge shoutout to #RideKC for making this possible!

Making the decision wasn't easy, but I've had to cancel my attendance at this year's #MVPSummit in Redmond. It's disappointing to miss the face-to-face experiences, but I'm excited to participate virtually and keep up with everyone online! Hope to see you soon at another event. #MVPBuzz

William and I participated in the annual Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium 4-mile run this morning, which supported sea otters this year. I set a personal goal of maintaining a 9:00/mile pace. I’m happy to share that I finished in the top 8% among over 2,100 participants, with a pace of 8:41 per mile! 🏃🎉

@librarianwilliam.bsky.social and I took on a new challenge this past Sunday: our first 4-mile race of the year! It was the Firecracker 4 & 8 mile run near Omaha, Nebraska. We had only done 5Ks (3.1 miles) until now, so this was a big step up for us. Especially the last long uphill stretch.
