I agree this smells like a rotten fish, but can someone point to the actual law he's breaking here? Saying "he's a crook!" doesn't really narrow it down much.

The article mentions the atmosphere expanding from added heat from the radiation and the impact it had on satellites. How does that heating compare to other global heating? Different kinds of things or the same?

Unless you want a paycheck.

Are we sure this is true? Not doubting it's POSSIBLE, but I can't find it quoted anywhere outside a meme.

Did she win? Is Trump a terrible, beatable candidate? Then she wasn't the best qualified.
April 4, 2025 at 4:15 PM
Your statement that she'd be better than Trump is exactly why the Dems lost. We're not talking about who would be better, we're talking about who would appeal to enough of BOTH sides to beat him. The whole "run to the extremes" primary races are what's killing moderate governance.

If you REALLY want a woman, how about Gretchen Whitmer in MI? These people have stood up to Trump before and been far more successful than KH.
April 4, 2025 at 3:44 PM
There were 4 state governors mentioned pretty highly. IL, CA, PA, KY. Pritzker in IL had the money for sure (not a fan myself as he's wrecked our budget). Andy Bershear in KY could have easily taken away Republican votes from Trump and you KNOW all the Dems would vote for him.
April 4, 2025 at 3:44 PM
WHAT experience!? What staff? KH had no executive experience. Being a Senator for 4 years doesn't give you the ability to run the executive. And don't tell me that being VP gave her that. The VP has little to do but what the President tells them.
April 4, 2025 at 3:44 PM
But would she have been better than many of the other qualified candidates? Especially when those other candidates had a much better chance of beating Trump. A "great candidate" who doesn't get elected is pretty useless.
April 4, 2025 at 3:19 PM
How about the Democrats who put forward a nobody candidate against a clear threat to society because she checked so many minority boxes? You're given the opportunity to hand pick a candidate to defeat a known quantity and you come up with THIS?

Government power is granted by the people—explicitly or implicitly.
But once given, it is rarely given back.
April 4, 2025 at 2:59 PM
If you think Trump should make major changes with an executive order, remember that same authority will be given to a Democrat one day.

If you want the government to fund your favorite issue, remember: that support can be used as leverage, threatened or withdrawn if you oppose other policies.

The office of the president will transition from party to party. But powers, once granted, are rarely returned, regardless of who sits in the chair. Government programs may bring help, but they also bring influence. And influence is easy to abuse without changing a single law.
April 4, 2025 at 2:59 PM
People think federal power shows up in uniforms or IRS audits. But Trump’s most effective weapon has been simpler: the threat to withhold money. WE have made this possible by letting government embed itself in so many areas of our lives.

A man that out of shape is brave just to go outside in public! 😆

ok, I'm not trying to support this loser, but lets stop sharing this altered picture of him. The unedited version is bad enough to begin with and it cheapens your attack. www.reuters.com/article/fact...

You can think that all you want, but that is NOT how it works. You pay a certain amount out of every paycheck and then you get money back based on a formula that can be changed at any time by whomever is currently in power. THAT is the reality.

I will ask you to MAKE well informed choices. Speak up for ideas you believe in and be ready to explain and defend those ideas; not through personal attacks, but by discussing the merits of the ideas themselves. Be aware of your biases and see that others will exploit them to manipulate you.
March 25, 2025 at 12:47 PM
And we've eaten it up. We believed so many lies because they offered easy explanations for a changing world. I believe he's done this to benefit himself more America and the average person, but I won't tell you what to believe, how you should vote, or what policies to support. It's YOUR choice.
March 25, 2025 at 12:47 PM
If there's one thing Trump has done exceedingly well, it's to stoke and exploit fear.
Fear that we are losing our way of life.
Fear that others are taking our jobs.
Fear that someone is taking advantage of us.
Fear of crime. Fear of war. Fear of loss.
March 25, 2025 at 12:47 PM
I have to accept that many people I know saw his methods and supported them. Others liked his policies and were willing to overlook the methods. And others weren't paying close enough attention and just voted for the party they were comfortable with.
