Mud is sitting at a table, leaning his chin onto his right hand. He smugly smiles as we says "Here's a challenge for you: Find me all the songs about straight people sucking dick!". Ken stares at Mud briefly in disbelief, before getting irrationally angry. His brain switches sides as seen in the pilot (I'm sure we'll know what that means beyond anger at some point) before he bellows out "WOMEN!!!", knocking Mud's head off his neck with the force of his scream.

Mud enters the Whale Belly Butcher Shop, stopping in the doorway and pointing at Ken. He asks "What the hell is that!?" in exasperation. Ken, holding a small breadloaf with a goofy face, replies "It's a baby I found in the trash.". Mud pauses for a second in angry disbelief before saying "Well put it back, it doesn't belong to you!"

I'm so in love with how in that final pan over the gaslight district the rest of the Smiling Dead look so uncomfortable and ashamed, meanwhile Mud just looks angry. I hope he starts the second episode off being sooooo pissy <3

Mud, while smiling, says “Baby need smoko” to which Mel, with crossed arms, replies “Baby does NOT need smoko” Ken is walking with a placid expression, carrying Mel by her armpits. Mel has gone limp, letting herself get carried with a wide-eyed, blank expression A smaller “chibified” Mud holds a blunt up to the camera, smiling serenely with text above him that reads “Quieres?” Mud is talking to a Mel who is high on weed. She is smiling deviously as he describes at length how he is going to tell everyone that Mel is high and that everyone is going to know and talk about it. Mel is deeply distressed by this.
