While we dont completely understand its mechanism we do know that it works similarly to alcohol in how it affects the brain. Thats y you don’t dream while under anesthesia, your brain is essentially paused. (2/5)

I have some ideas for ‘demystifying’ some of the secrets of anesthesia and using it to educate the public and help reinforce my studies. Some ideas are
1. Anesthesia myth busters
2. Today in clinical I learned
3. Maybe some tips to navigate being new in anesthesia.
