This mardu group hug/goad deck. It is so fun to give the table a bunch of value, incentivize them to use it against each other, and then benefit from it. With a number of instant speed answers it feels like you’re always in the game. moxfield.com/decks/KqyqGV...

We’re seeing the same thing now with Avatar. It just makes the current set feel like it is already old news and therefore you shouldn’t focus on it

Definitely second this. Spoilers for this set coming out prior to EOE release sort of felt like WOTC was telling me not to even care about EOE which was a set I was excited for at the time. I honestly feel like even just shortening the marketing window for Spiderman would’ve made me more interested

Another great option for this play style in Dimir is Marvo, Deep Operative. I have a bracket 3 build with lots of top deck manipulation to help win clashes and cheat in big sea creatures. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to play something similar in a different color pair!

One of the beautiful things about a game like Magic is the diversity of formats. I love playing sealed/draft but also love commander because they provide different play experiences. You can always just play what speaks to you and your preferred play style
