I haven’t shared any kits I’ve built for a while now, so here’s the Mazinger Zero I started today. The gun metal Gundam Marker EX is really lifting this thing up. Going to look so amazing.

Was lucky enough to catch the IMAX screening of Gundam GQuuuuuux Beginning and I’m so excited to see more. Every part of it was perfect. No notes, other than not being 1000x longer.

Completed the MG Hyaku Shiki last night. Can’t wait to buy water slides and metal detail bits for it. Definitely one of my favorite suits from all of Gundam.

Another ZZ update no one is reading: these last ten or so episodes are amazing. Not only did we get an AGG-Guy on screen for the first time, this building climax has been on par with some of the best Gundam stories.

Gundam ZZ updates: think I’ve gotten to the part where people says it picks up. Enjoying it more than my first attempt. I like the Zeta more than the Double Zeta. Was super surprised that the Hyaku Shiki made a comeback. We are in the desert and loving this episode so far. Land battles are my fave

On episode 11 of my Gundam ZZ watch though. Dropped it the first time I tried to watch it. Enjoying it way more this time. I think going from Zeta to it was much harder than watching Macross 1 then easing into this. Love the Hamma Hamma. Heard it gets pretty dark halfway through?

Before and after I did a wash on this JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure mask I’ve had on my wall for a few years. Always hated how cheap it looked, but the wash really brought out the details and really makes it look more like stone. Always love using Gunpla skills to improve other things.

Just finished my rewatch of Gundam Wing. Haven’t seen it since 2008? Liked it more than I thought I would, but it could use 10-20 less episodes. A tighter plot and clearer character motivations would put it higher on my list. Liked the characters, and loved Zecks. I’d give it 6/10 Char lookalikes.
