It also seems like in previous attacks they didn’t release so much info about the shooter and their message, purposely. That seems to have gone out the window.

My main concern has been that the bans would lead to more conflict, kids constantly getting suspended and teachers having to police the ban all day instead of teach. Hopefully we will be able to get good data on that soon.

When I saw Homan say a few days ago Chicago would be ground zero for mass deportations, I wondered immediately if it might be backlash for the resolution they passed adding some support and protections for immigrant students and families.
